Vic PGA Championship To Tee Off  

At Melbourne’s Cool Climate Change

As Melbourne and Victoria swelter under one of the hottest days for the year the PGA will

announce one of Victoria’s major golfing events will be moved to Melbourne’s  Cool Climate

Change Suburb  Sandhurst a Copenhagen solution and the greenest  suburb in Victoria.


A putting competition has been organized to coincide with the announcement 

 

The Victorian PGA Championship is one of the longest running professional golf events on the

Victorian calendar, and forms part of the PGA Tour of Australia .


Details of  The Victorian PGA Championship  a four round tournament attracting some of

Australia’s leading players and emerging talent, who are forging their careers on the US,

European, Asian or Nationwide Tours will be announced following a putting competition

 


In 2010, the Victorian PGA Championship will position golf as a sport which is both social and

competitive, to be enjoyed by spectators and participants,  by males and females of all ages. 


The tournament itinerary includes golf and social functions for the community, corporate

sponsors and club members alike, creating an opportunity for networking while promoting and

developing the game of golf.
