The Australian Surf Rowers League Series Finals Navy Australian
Open Titles
UPDATE - DAY ONE - Friday 5 February
A strong and dangerous northerly swell made conditions treacherous today at the Navy
Australian Surf Rowers League National Finals at Wollongongs City Beach.
The start was delayed by two hours until high tide gave the crews a chance to clear the beach.
Several boats found the seas too tough, coming to grief in the first break. Thankfully no-one was
seriously injured.
Racing begins at 8am tomorrow. All results will be available on the ASRL website
