   Sweet Smell Of Success For Grand Final Footy Teams 


The demonstration of the ancient techniques of glass blowing at the Kirra

Galleries Fed Square Tomorrow to launch a new contemporary glass exhibition

will take on a Grand Final flavour with footy fans being able to experience the

sweet smell of success. 

 

Melbourne glass artist Chris Arnold who will join a

number of Australia’s

contemporary glass artists, specialising in lampworking, demonstrating their

skills at the Flame on Glass 2009 exhibition

has designed and is creating two

special perfume bottles.


Mr Arnold said whilst supporter wear jumpers, scarves and beanies and wave

streamers the hand crafted perfume bottles were a personal way of celebrating the

teams achievements every day. 

  

One perfume bottle sporting the blue and white colours of Geelong the other

displaying the red black and white of the Saints.


The Geelong perfume bottle features a blue and white orchid and the St Kilda bottle

features a six petal flower with three black leaves and three white leaves and a red

centre.


Mr. Arnold said his family had followed the Saints for decades. 

  

The demonstrations of hot glass blowing co-incide with Grand Final Celebrations in

the Fed Square Tomorrow .
