Smashing batsman David Warner at ANZ Stadium this Saturday

Australia’s ‘hottest’ cricketer, smashing batsman David Warner is confirmed as a starter for the RTA

SpeedBlitz blues this Saturday night (17 January) at ANZ Stadium against the top of the table Victorian

Bushrangers.


Warner has had a meteoric rise to the peak of the Australian cricketing tree and NSW will need all his star

quality when they take on the defending champions.


ANZ Stadium is the perfect place for Twenty20 cricket, where the music will be pumping and the action will

be fast paced. A great Saturday night out and a match not to be missed.

KFC Twenty20 Big Bash - RTA SpeedBlitz Blues v Victorian Bushrangers - Match commences: 7:15pm


Playing in a curtain raiser at 3.15pm will be 10-time National Champions the Wolf Blass Breakers who will

play the Victorian Spirit side in the women’s T20.


Getting to ANZ Stadium

In conjunction with the KFC Twenty 20 Big Bash game at ANZ Stadium, the Mens’ Doubles (4:30pm) and

Mens’ Singles (7pm) Finals of the Sydney Tennis International are being conducted at the Sydney Olympic

Park Tennis Centre.  Patrons are advised to plan their travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park and allow

plenty of time for their trip to the Stadium.


Trains

Fans travelling to ANZ Stadium should travel to Lidcombe Station and change for the Olympic Park Sprint,

operating 6 services per hour from 6:50am until midnight. For details go to www.131500.info


Important track work information:

South Line: Buses replace trains between Macarthur and Granville.


Airport and East Hills Line: Buses replace trains between Macarthur and Kingsgrove.


Inner West and Bankstown lines: Buses replace trains between Liverpool and Villawood.


Southern Highlands line: Buses replace trains between Goulburn and Liverpool

Buses

Sydney Buses will operate to a normal weekend timetable. Sydney Buses service the Sydney Olympic Park

precinct with Routes 401 (until approximately 5:45pm) and 525 (until approximately 10:00pm).

Car Parking

Casual car parking is available. Patrons wishing to drive their cars are encouraged to plan their trip with

school holiday traffic and other events in the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct in mind. The cost of parking at

Sydney Olympic Park is $4 per hour up to a maximum of $20.
