The 9th annual Coogee Dolphins sports lunch is promising to deliver more than
good food, entertainment and charity fund raising on Friday 15th commencing
noon, at Dolphin headquarters The Beach Palace Hotel Coogee.
Sakio “THE SCORPION” Bika the Aussie who rocketed to world boxing
stardom by winning the reality TV show “the Contender” has promised to make
an announcement regarding his intentions and "The Man" had better be
listening.
Club President - Patrick Byrne said "Its great that Sakio and all the sports stars
are taking time out of their busy schedules to lend support to the day and the
Sydney Children’s Hospital auction. He (Bika) has asked for a few minutes on
the microphone, we all can’t wait to hear his announcement".
"This year promises to be as much fun as ever, stories by the 3 Mortimer
brothers, Steve, Peter & Chris as well as current and past NRL players, NRL
executives plus great items for auction such as lunch with Bessie Bardot and a
P & O Cruise are just a sample of what’s in store for the day" Byrne said.
