MEDIA ALERT
WHERE:
For all media wishing to go out on the water to capture the event, a boat has been
arranged from Rose Bay Wharf, New South Head Road to transport you to Bondi
Beach.
The actual stunt is taking place 500 metres off shore (North End of Bondi Beach).
WHEN:
Wednesday 3rd
November 2010
10.15am: Media boat leaves from Rose Bay
11am: Media call commences at Bondi Beach (North End)
WHY:
In August, V8 Supercars Australia announced that they were throwing their support
behind one of the countrys iconic organisations Surf Life Saving, who were named the
national beneficiary of the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series. The partnership
will see vital funds raised for Surf Life Saving through a number of fundraising activities
held during the V8 Supercar Series.
The streets of Sydney Olympic Park will ignite over three days for the Sydney Telstra
500 as V8 Supercars best drivers push the limits at the seasons final battle from
Friday December 3 to Sunday December 5. Last year over 180,000 people raced by
day and rocked by night and V8 Supercars is expecting to smash that record in 2010
when legendary rockers Guns N Roses come to town to headline the heart-thumping
ride that is the Sydney Telstra 500.
