The streets of Melbourne will come to life with the roar of motorbikes as the
'Wake up the city to MotoGP' departs Federation Square led by motorsport
legends Mick Doohan and Wayne Gardner.

Following the ride will be the official 'Wake up the city to MotoGP' event on stage at Fed Square featuring interviews with:

* Mick Doohan - Five time World Champion
* Wayne Gardner - World Champion
* Glenn Allerton - Australian Superbike Champion
* Josh Waters - Australian Superbike Championship leading contender
* Shawn Giles Australian Superbike Championship rider
* Drew Ward - CEO, Australian Grand Prix Corporation
* Plus motorcycling enthusiasts taking part in the city ride:
Steve Richards V8 Supercars FPR driver
Robbie Kearns - NRL premiership player

Date: Tuesday, October 13
Time: 11.30am - Rider registration at the Fed Square car park roof - accessed
from the Russell St and Flinders St intersection. (Melways Ref: 1B, R11)

12 noon (sharp) Ride departing from the Fed Square car park roof
