MEDIA ALERT: V8 SUPERCARS ROLL INTO TOWN FOR SUPERGP
The full force of the V8 Supercar Championship Series hits the streets of Surfer Paradise
tomorrow (Wednesday) morning as 17 massive b-double transporters ship the full field in SuperGP pit lane.
The convoy of b-doubles will come in two waves the first at 8.30am and the second at 11.15am under
Police escort as the more than $50 million of cars and related equipment bumps into pit lane.
They will gather at the Seaworld car park at 8.15am and 11.00am, proceed north via Waterways Drive to
Main Beach Parade to Tedder Avenue and then into Hill Parade. The cars and equipment will then be
unloaded in pit lane in two two-hour blocks.
All media are invited to cover the unloading process which clearly has great visual appeal from the ground
and the air.
Please be guided by security and the V8 Supercar teams whilst in pit lane.
