Australian Jousting Team Cleans Up The Kiwis
In A Medieval Bledisloe Cup
No matter what sport, we’re always happy to
beat the Kiwi’s and our Aussie Knights have
done us proud.
The five-man Australian Jousting Team has
pummeled the Kiwis winning every event in
the inaugural Trans Tasman Cup, as part of
New Zealand’s Taupo International Jousting
Festival, January 23 – 24.
The visually spectacular joust had the crowd
on the edge of their seats as the knights and
their trusty steeds galloped at each other to
break their lance on their opponent’s shield.
It’s now on to the Olympics of jousting for our
Aussie Knights.
Come the ANZAC Day weekend, they are
getting ready to don the armor and defend our
country’s honour.
This time against the best jousters in the world at
the Ironfest Arts Festival’s, St George’s Day
Joust Tournament, 24-26th April 2010, in
Lithgow.
More than 15,000 people are expected to cheer
on our Aussie Knights at the medieval spectacle. The tournament is an annual event
