Australian Jousting Team Cleans Up The Kiwis

In A Medieval Bledisloe Cup

No matter what sport, we’re always happy to

beat the Kiwi’s and our Aussie Knights have

done us proud.

The five-man Australian Jousting Team has

pummeled the Kiwis winning every event in

the inaugural Trans Tasman Cup, as part of

New Zealand’s Taupo International Jousting

Festival, January 23 – 24.

The visually spectacular joust had the crowd

on the edge of their seats as the knights and

their trusty steeds galloped at each other to

break their lance on their opponent’s shield.

It’s now on to the Olympics of jousting for our

Aussie Knights.

Come the ANZAC Day weekend, they are

getting ready to don the armor and defend our

country’s honour.

This time against the best jousters in the world at

the Ironfest Arts Festival’s, St George’s Day

Joust Tournament, 24-26th April 2010, in

Lithgow.

More than 15,000 people are expected to cheer

on our Aussie Knights at the medieval spectacle. The tournament is an annual event
