Weather Top -4°C. Mostly cloudy but there was a break of blue sky even a glimpse of sunshine early. Looks

to be a cloudy day though, snow showers are in the forecast mainly in the afternoon. Winds are moderate.

Visibility is good. Today's expected top temperature between 9am and 3pm is 0°C.


Weather Village +2°C. It is a mostly cloudy day with occasional breaks of sunshine. It is a cool morning, so

make sure you layer up today if heading high. Winds are fresh and gusty. Today's expected top temperature

between 9am and 3pm is +5°C.


Snow Conditions The weather cleared enough this morning to catch a look at the mountain and it looks very

snowy. There is a good snow cover across the higher parts of the mountain, plenty at the top of the chairlift to

play in and throw around. For the backcountry enthusiasts there is good coverage for some out-the-back

adventures. You will require - ski's and/or snow shoes and appropriate snow faring gear. Please check the

weather bureau forecast before heading out. Official snow depth thanks to Snowy Hydro is 140cm at

Spencers Creek (1830m) as at 15 October.

Chairlift and Facilities Kosciuszko Express is open 9.00am to 4.00pm. Australia's highest golf course, the

Thredbo Golf Course will open when the greens dry out. Thredbo Bobsled, will open when the weather

clears. Tennis Courts are available for hire.


Bureau Forecast Saturday: afternoon snow shower. Sunday: fine, mostly sunny. Monday: sunny.


What's On The Thredbo Leisure Centre is open from 12-7pm. Mission Inflatable 12-3pm and waterslide 12-

6pm. Self guided walks - discover a little more about Thredbo with a self guided art, enviro, memorial,

ecology and history walk. Maps available from Thredbo Sports. Thredbo Valley Distillery open 10am-5pm.

Sample a variety of locally made schnapps and check out the stunning still house and surrounds. Lunch and

snacks served daily. Located half way between Jindabyne and Thredbo on the Alpine Way.

Road Conditions Open and clear.


Tip of the Day The snow fairy drop past for a spring time blast, the winter peak of snow we are close to

surpass. The good news is we are in for a sunshine show, so outdoor adventures will be the go.
