New direction for Summer Boat Show at Docklands

Melbourne International Boat and Lifestyle

Festival is back with a new name and a new

direction in 2010.

Not just a feast of large luxury boats, the Festival

will feature more activities on the promenade

including live bands each afternoon as well as an

outdoor bar.

Running from 5 to 7 February at NewQuay Marina and all along the Promenade from NewQuay to

Waterfront City at Docklands, the layout will be a fresh mix of boats and boating gear plus all the

good things of life.

The promenade will be filled with exhibits featuring trailerable boats, personal watercraft,

chandlery and accessories, along with food tasting and entertainment.

The big boats on the water will fill the NewQuay Marina, with a single easy access point making it

easier than ever to navigate between the on-land and on-water attractions of Festival.

The Waterfront City Piazza will feature live music in the late afternoon as well as an outdoor bar

where show patrons can relax and enjoy the afternoon with good music and great company.

Showgoers will get a close-up look at luxury cruisers including the Dyna 770 making its Melbourne

show debut and offered for sale by Melbourne Boat Sales for a few dollars less then $4 million.
